Last Day of Christmas Shopping

With it being Christmas Eve, it is officially the last day for Christmas shopping. We will be open until around 5pm today to help you guys with that task!
We would like to wish all of our customers and website visitors a very happy Christmas! The shop will reopen at 11am on Tuesday 27th December.

The Lime Tree pub will be hosting a community fun day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. This will take place on Saturday 8th October 12-4pm at The Lime Tree Pub, Paston Lane, Walton, Peterborough. Disc Repair Service Now Available
We now offer a disc repair service in the shop. If you have CD/DVDs that do not work due to scratches then we might be able to help. If you have a videogame disc that will not load, again, we might be able to help. We can repair the following types of discs:
- Audio CDs
- CD-ROMs
- DVDs
- Blu-Rays
- XBox & XBox 360 games
- Nintendo Wii games
- Sony Playstation 1, 2 & 3 games
- PC games (CD or DVD)
- Sega Dreamcast games
- Sega Saturn games
- Amiga CD32 games
- Sega MegaCD games
Unfortunately, we cannot repair Sony PSP & Nintendo Gamecube discs.
We cannot guarantee that all discs can be repaired, but in many cases a discs that skips or does not load can be repaired. PS3 games and Blu-Rays can only have minor scratches removed, deep scratches cannot be repaired because of the way data is stored on those particular discs. Any discs that have damage to the top side (label side) cannot be repaired.
Our charge for repair attempts are £2.25 per disc. We offer discount on bulk repairs at a rate of £10 per 5 discs.

Needlers Caramel Cups Are Still Here!
People are still having a hard time getting hold of Needlers Caramel Cups, well, we’re not having problems and have plenty in stock. We have heard various rumours that they are discontinued or the wrapping machine had failed – we have not heard anything official, so for now at least, we still have these popular little beauties! We have noticed some of the newer stock has a new wrapper, so there could be some truth in the wrapping machine theory!

We do not charge anything for putting notices on the board, however, we do reserve the right to decline notices. so, if you have run a business, have something for sale or have lost a pet, etc then you are quite welcome to pop in a place a notice on our board.
Warm Weather Is Here – Ice Poles Are In!

Yes, that’s right, ice poles and icy cup drinks are now available at our traditional sweet shop in Peterborough. The ice poles come in three different sizes and several flavours, they are priced at 10p/20p/30p each. The icy cup drinks are also available in several different flavours and are priced at 12pence each.
